I redeemed myself after the polenta disaster with a very nice (from scratch) white cake. I made two layers, but we're going to freeze one so we can have homemade cake on a work night.
Not only am I an avid knitter, I'm also a Classics/ Art History graduate from a small liberal arts college in Wisconsin. I've been working for a year at a historic farm. Currently, work and research eat up most of the time I'd rather spend knitting, but I love what I do. I dream of someday living in the country with a small flock of sheep, cooking gourmet food and fooling around with vintage knitting and natural dyeing.
