On my way to sleep

Long days, my friends. Long ass days.

99.9% of our stuff is in the new place. 80% of it is still boxed. Due to the helter skelter grab and go technique we'd adopted as we neared the end of the moving, 100% of those boxes are poorly organized, unmarked messes that will take weeks to properly sort out.

My mission tomorrow is to clean the old place, and fix up the new stove so we can do some actual cooking. I brought home hot dogs and mac and cheese to have a meal on the cheap, but realized that I wasn't going to be able to even boil water on a stove with rusted out dishes under the electric coils.

On top of it all, I'm rushing to finish some serious heirloom lace on a deadline.

Who imposed the heirloom lace deadline? The lace is beautiful, but I hope you're not working in a sweatshop. The kitchen is very pretty and fresh looking. Good luck with the stove.

Do people out east not believe in cabinet doors? How about under the sink? That would be awesome. Keeps things hidden. Like dead mice. And ninjas.

Wow - that lace is beautiful! Hopefully by now that old place is all cleaned and you are getting at those boxes - one at a time! In a few days you can take a break. The kitchen looks so fresh and clean. Congratulations! See you soon.

You have lots of shelves. You might need a step stool.
