For now: I finished my big lace project nearly a year ago AND finally took pictures today. Here they are.
I'm working on a pair of stockings at work and a pair of socks here at home that still need a lace insert. They might go on break until I decide what to do with my Dream in Color yarn. Then again, I'm on a mission to use some of my less seductive stash. Mostly so I can turn it into something useful.
I recently discovered that one of my best friends from college has finally gotten engaged. She loves rich eggplant purple and needs something knitted to commemorate the occasion. Is a garter too forward? She's a very good friend, but I just don't know if that'd be something I'd be ok with someone else choosing for me.
I've got plenty of time, so I think I'll try some natural dying with humane handspun by me wool and see where that gets us. Any other thoughts?
